Job Description
SMC Insurance Brokers, a leading provider of insurance solutions, is seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance Sales Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance, leading a team of insurance sales representatives, and ensuring exceptional customer service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of insurance sales representatives to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue generation and market penetration.
- Monitor team performance, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Collaborate with the sales management team to develop sales forecasts, budgets, and action plans.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and best practices in insurance sales techniques and technologies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, employee engagement, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in insurance sales, with a minimum of 2-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills, with a track record of driving sales performance and achieving targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of insurance products, services, and industry regulations.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant insurance certifications or licenses are highly desirable.
